- Clarion Loop Trail
Three-mile loop spur added to North Country Trail connecting Clarion to the Clarion River that winds through hemlocks and hardwoods, passing over creeks and rocks until you reach the river.
- Cook Forest Sensory Trail
¼-mile paved loop for blind and physically disabled with braille/raised letter signage, a guide cable, sturdy benches, and a picnic area at the trail head.

Explore the nationally recognized Clarion River and Toby Creek watershed as you make your way through Clarion County to the resort town of Foxburg.
- Rail 66 Country Trail

Public boat launch and dock with no usage fees. Spend a day boating on Piney Reservoir on the wild and scenic Clarion River.
- Kahle Lake
251-acre reservoir. Electric and unpowered boats only. Boat ramp and parking available. Big Bass Program Regulations. Fishing includes musky, walleye, crappie, and perch. Great for kayaking and canoeing.
- Clarion Pool YMCA
Large swimming pool for all ages- handicap accessible, food available, volleyball court, play area for kids, with five pavilions and picnic areas for parties.

A scenic 13-mile stretch of the Clarion River flows through Cook Forest State Park and is popular for canoeing, kayaking, and tubing.

Clear Creek State Forest is 16,229 acres in Jefferson, Clarion, Forest, and two other counties with many of those acres along the Clarion and Allegheny Rivers.
- Clarion Community Park
Open April - October. A brand new playground!! Ball fields, soccer fields, archery range, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and children's garden.
- Clarion Pool and YMCA
Year-round indoor recreation for the whole family. Pickleball courts, pool, gym and yoga/exercise classes.
