That means you can now bike or walk directly from Rustic Acres to some of our favorite local spots like Lost in the Wilds Brewery, Dairy Queen, and O'Neil’s Family Market. Keep going and you’ll reach Leeper and even Marianne—without ever needing to get in your car.

But it’s not all pavement! Rustic Acres also offers direct access to nearby State Game Lands, where rugged paths and forest trails give off-road bikers and hikers a chance to explore Pennsylvania’s wilder side. These trails are a bit more adventurous, perfect if you're into mountain biking or just love a good walk in the woods.

And just beyond those woods, you’ll find something truly special—the North Country National Scenic Trail. As the longest trail in the National Trails System, it stretches 4,800 miles from North Dakota to Vermont, and passes right by Rustic Acres through the neighboring game lands. It’s a dream for thru-hikers, but even a short stroll along this historic path is an experience to remember.

And don’t worry if biking isn’t your thing. All of these trails are just as enjoyable on foot. A morning hike, an evening stroll, or a day exploring—you can do it all without ever leaving camp.
